Join the East Bay DSA for the Big Bernie Weekend!

Mail-in ballots drop in just 60 days, so we have four days of organizing to continue building the multiracial, working-class movement that’s going to win the White House and transform our country. 

The latest poll <[link removed]> shows Bernie narrowly in the lead in California! We have a real chance to win California for Bernie, which is crucial to Bernie winning the Democratic Primary. Now is the time to do everything we can to secure that victory, so all hands on deck are needed to build the political revolution, one conversation at a time!

Just as important, Bernie’s run offers an unprecedented opportunity for democratic socialists to reach thousands of ordinary people with our politics, and to build working-class power. We know that it will take a movement to push through Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, socialized housing, and tuition-free college. Help us build that movement in the East Bay!

DSA’s Bernie campaign needs you to make this happen, so come to all, some, or even just one of our events this weekend!

The Big Bernie Weekend kicks off tonight with a social at Classic Cars West! This is a great event for people who want to learn more about our campaign for Bernie. We'll tell you about upcoming events and how you can get involved!

- Canvass for Bernie at Fruitvale BART <[link removed]>

Join us at the Fruitvale BART tomorrow to crowd canvass for Bernie during rush hour! 

- Knock Doors for Bernie and the Green New Deal for Public Housing <[link removed]>

One of Bernie’s most exciting plans is the Green New Deal for Public Housing - a bill to upgrade and decarbonize federal public housing in the US. Not only would this bill decrease US carbon emissions by a third, it would massively improve the lives of public housing residents as well as weakening obstacles to expanding public housing. Join us on Saturday to spread the word!

We will be wrapping up our Big Bernie Weekend by canvassing in Temescal after the General Meeting! Whether you are a DSA member or not - join us for the General Meeting and stay for the short canvass afterwards!
