On August 2, Missouri voters will determine which candidates will face off in November’s general election. Republicans will have their pick between more than 20 criminals, corporate-funded politicians, and corrupt elites on the ballot.
Democrats will have a choice too. They have me — a 13-year Marine veteran, antitrust expert, and economic justice advocate running to fundamentally change who has power in our country. And they’ll have my opponent, a billionaire heiress who joined our race literally hours before the deadline.
These next 28 days are going to be some of the most expensive days of political advertising that Missouri has ever seen. Between the ads bought by shady Super PACs and the ones paid for by our opponents themselves, one of our biggest challenges will be breaking through their noise and delivering our message to voters on TV, online, and on the ground.
