*CHILDREN?S BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES INFORMATION SHEETS
AVAILABLE NOW*
The Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) is pleased to introduce a series of helpful guides and tools for youth, caregivers and providers designed to assist in various aspects of children's behavioral health needs.
These tools and guides offer clear, concise information on topics related to children's behavioral health. The tools and guides introduce youth and caregivers to the signs and symptoms of behavioral health and how to obtain services. Other guides and tools are designed for providers who support youth and families with navigating the children's behavioral health system. These guides and tools are in addition to the recently published service-specific information sheets designed to assist families and their child serving teams with the process of determining which services may meet their child's behavioral health needs.
OCFS partnered with members of the System of Care Steering Committee comprised of youth, caregivers, and members of the Maine Alliance for Families Organization (MAFO) to develop the information sheets.
A few ways these tools may be helpful include sharing them with youth, families, schools, medical offices, and bringing them to an appointment, or providing them in settings serving children and youth. Download the PDFs from the OCFS website [ [link removed] ]at the following links:
