Do you have issues with mold at your property? Speak out and testify this Monday.

This legislation, as introduced, will require the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) housing inspectors to be certified to conduct indoor mold assessment and remediation. DCRA shall issue a notice of violation to property owners to remediate indoor mold and impose penalties on owners who do not comply.

This legislation was introduced by Chairman Mendelson and Councilmembers R. White, Evans, McDuffie, T. White, Bonds, Nadeau, Todd, Allen, and Grosso with Co-Sponsor(s) being Councilmembers Cheh and Gray.
