Good morning, Here is the Texas Minute for Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
- This week, Texas Scorecard is excited to launch The Kambree Show as part of our growing line of programs!
Kambree Nelson is a native Texan, wife, mother, marketing professional, and grassroots activist.
For most of her adult life, Kambree didn't pay too close attention to politics— that is until her family moved to California. The unhinged policies driving the state were a shock to her. So she got involved, fighting to make a difference.
Eventually, the California craziness became too much and Kambree's family moved back to Texas. She thought they were escaping to a bastion of conservatism. She was wrong.
Soon after returning home, Kambree realized Texas had changed. Out of control property taxes, failing public schools, and a porous border were just the tip of the iceberg. How had Texas changed so much? How had no one warned her?
Kambree learned the simple truth: most Texans don't know what's actually going on in their government.
The Kambree Show will take viewers through a journey of the real issues impacting Texans, the ones those in power don't like to talk about. She'll get answers to the tough questions: what's really going on, who's responsible, and what citizens can do.
- The first episode will premiere on July 6 at TexasScorecard.com! Today, watch the trailer introducing you to Kambree.
On July 5, 1865, the U.S. Secret Service Division was created to combat currency counterfeiting, forging and the altering of currency and securities.
“All men having power ought to be distrusted to a certain degree.”
