Friend --
Let's talk about trifectas. When Republicans control the governor's office and both chambers of the legislature in a given state, they often have unchecked power to manipulate the maps however they choose. That's exactly what happened in 2011, when Republicans had trifectas in nearly half of all states.
Since we launched the NDRC, one of our top goals has been breaking Republican trifectas. And guess what? Since 2016, Democrats have broken GOP trifectas in five states and gained trifectas in nine. That's a great start -- but we have a lot more to do. Will you help us break trifectas in four big states where Trump won in 2016?

Here's where we'll be working to break Republican trifectas in 2020:
Texas, which has 36 U.S. House seats and could gain three more after the 2020 Census
Florida, which has 27 seats and could gain two more after the census
Ohio, which has 16 seats
Georgia, which has 14 seats
And in North Carolina, which has 13 U.S. House seats and where the Republican legislature has unilateral control over redistricting, we'll be working to flip the state House and Senate.
Help us break these trifectas! >>>[link removed]
Together, these states have a whopping 106 seats in the House, and all of their maps could be manipulated in the GOP's favor again if we can't break their control.
These aren't easy states to win in, friend -- Trump carried them all in 2016. But if we can flip just one legislative chamber in each, we can give Democrats a seat at the table for redistricting.
Can you help, friend? Pitch in to help us break GOP trifectas and secure fair maps!
