Team, Happy Fourth of July!

Today we celebrate Independence Day, and commemorate the passage of the Declaration of Independence. It’s a day to celebrate freedom, independence, and American history!

We know this is a time of rest and relaxation for many and a time to be with loved ones. But we'll be honest, this year emotions are heavier than ever. After the recent overturning of Roe, today is also a reminder about how close we are to losing more of our rights and freedoms if the GOP continues their extreme attacks on us.

As we’ve seen through the public January 6 committee hearings, our republic was in grave danger just 18 months ago. Here in Arizona, one side - the AZ GOP - continues to put us in grave danger of losing our freedoms and our independence.

And after this SCOTUS session, especially with the overturning of Roe, it is clear our freedoms are not guaranteed. We understand the pain many are rightfully feeling, and we are committed to the fight to get our freedoms back.

So as we remember this important time in our country’s history, let’s also make sure we’re doing everything we can to protect its present and its future.
