John — our country was founded on the principle of freedom. From Independence Hall in Philadelphia to the steel mills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvanians have always fought for freedom. I believe freedom is being able to make your own decisions over your own body. It’s having the opportunity to work a stable job and provide for your family. It's marrying the person you love. It's having your vote counted and your voice heard. Freedom is really at stake in this Governor's race. You know, the other side loves to say they’re the party of freedom — but it’s just not true. It's not freedom when they dictate to the women of Pennsylvania how and when and under what terms they can start a family. It's not freedom when they tell our children what books they can read. It’s not freedom when they go out and say, sure, you can vote but we get to pick the winner. That is not freedom. But I can promise you that I will defend your freedoms against those attacks as your next Governor. I’m so grateful to have your support on this Fourth of July. Thank you, Josh Shapiro
