In the midst of a difficult time for so many, we hope that today can be a day of peace and reflection for you and your family.

Today we want to ask a simple question: What does freedom mean to the GOP? Why is a party that claims to care about freedom so intent on denying Americans the right to make decisions about their own bodies?

GOP AGs are loudly cheering the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the constitutional right to access abortion. It’s the height of hypocrisy for a party who claims to value liberty and freedom above all else. We are calling it out for what it is: blatant cruelty in the name of scoring political points.

Democratic AGs believe in protecting the freedom of bodily autonomy and empowering people to make their own personal medical decisions. We have an opportunity in November to elect more Dem AGs and protect access to abortion in states where care is threatened or restricted.
