We are witnessing a very dark time in our Nation’s history. We are being attacked from within by people who love self over country. They are consolidating power to force an anti democratic agenda by using the very framework our forefathers built with determination and sacrifice.
This Independence Day we find ourselves on the cusp of a new revolution. One where we must hold Congress accountable for their inaction that brought us to this point. The blocking of a President from exercising his Constitutional power to appoint a Supreme Court justice. The confirmation of problematic justices to the Court. The blatant approval of a President who incited an insurrection to overthrow an election.
Will you join me in a new revolution to take back our Congress from those that ignore the will of the people? ([link removed])
In times like these I feel most patriotic, because the United States began as a set of ideals that became reality. Our Republic has always required work to maintain it. And while the rest of us are working hard to honor our Constitution by fighting for equality and equity for all of our citizens, the United States Supreme Court is removing our rights, one case at a time.
The best I can give to my country today is to fight for what I and most Americans believe in. Montesquieu said in the Spirit of Laws published in 1748, “When once a Republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.”
We cannot allow the tyranny of a few to override the desires of the majority. This Independence Day, I pledge to take back our rights! ([link removed])

My opponent, Dan Crenshaw, is not doing the job we elected him to do. He is actively working against the will of the people and applauds the Supreme Court’s recent decisions which strip rights away from us.
