Dear John, 

 

I wanted to write to you about the importance of Independence Day and to thank you for the opportunity to represent you in Congress. 


246 years ago today, our Founding Fathers broke the bonds of tyranny and declared our fledgling nation independent. We grew to become not only the greatest nation in the world, but also an eternal flame of liberty and democracy.

 

Nearly every day, we are reminded that liberty is not guaranteed. As President Ronald Reagan once said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."


Upholding our liberties and the integrity of the Constitution is a top priority as your representative. I will never stop fighting for you and our great country.


Thank you for your support and thank you for believing in these United States.
