Happy Independence Day!

Today, as we join the millions of Americans celebrating our freedom, let us remember that freedom isn’t free. For the last 250 years, men and women have fought and died for our right to celebrate our liberty today. So, to them and their families, I offer my sincere gratitude.

I also want to make sure that I dismiss this false notion of being pushed by those in Katie Porter’s Progressive Caucus that being an American is a reason to be ashamed. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I am proud to be an American, today and every day! So, with that being said, I hope you enjoy your day with friends and family. God Bless America!
