John,
This 4th of July, guess who’s not doing their patriotic duty? Millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations that don’t pay their fair share in taxes.
Did you know that each year the richest 1% evades $163 billion in taxes?[1]
This is because, after decades of disinvestment by congressional Republicans, the IRS has fewer employees today than anytime since the 1970s.[2] In fact, between 2010 and 2018, the IRS lost nearly one-third of its enforcement employees, or 14,000 workers.[3]
The ultra-rich are buying politicians and buying elections to not only rig our economy and our tax system, but also attack our most basic rights―abortion rights, voting rights, and Social Security.
Check out Frank’s email below, then chip in $4 this 4th of July to fight back against millionaires, billionaires, and corporations that use their money and influence to create a society by the 1% and for the 1%.
Recent Supreme Court decisions are serving as a rallying cry for people across the country to stand up and fight back against right-wing extremism that seeks to control our bodies and our lives. And it starts by holding the rich and powerful accountable, who consistently use their extreme resources to further rig the system in their favor.
Chip in $4 this 4th of July to hold the wealthy and corporations accountable―and demand they start paying their fair share in taxes.
Thank you for all that you do for the future of our country.

John,
When billionaires and corporations buy elections, they’re rigging our tax system and our economy for economic gain. But that’s not all.
They’re also enacting a right-wing agenda that takes away our rights on everything from abortion access to democracy to the future of Social Security.
Coca-Cola has donated $2.6 million to anti-abortion candidates and organizations.[1]
Between 2016 and 2020, 134 billionaires donated nearly $236 million to Donald Trump and his super PACs.[2] These same billionaires are supporting insurrectionist candidates in 2022, continuing to fuel Trump’s “Big Lie”―destabilizing our democracy.
PayPal and Facebook billionaire Peter Thiel has spent nearly $30 million bankrolling two right-wing U.S. Senate candidates: J.D. Vance, who won the Ohio Republican primary, and Blake Masters in Arizona, who wants to privatize Social Security.[3][4]
What can we do? Hit them where it matters most: their pocketbooks!
We’re leading the national movement demanding Congress enact a Billionaires Income Tax to fix our broken tax code and finally make billionaires pay taxes every year, not just when they feel like it.
We’re fighting for a Corporate Profits Minimum Tax of 15%, so tax dodging corporations don’t get away with paying little to nothing in federal income taxes each year on their billions of dollars in profits.
This 4th of July weekend, let’s demand millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations do their patriotic duty and pay their taxes! Donate $4 to Americans for Tax Fairness today to unrig our tax code and hold wealthy and corporate tax cheats accountable.
Together, we’re fighting for an America that includes all of us.
Thank you for being a critical part of our movement for change.
