Hey John,

Happy Independence Day! Every year on this day, we celebrate our nation's birthday and the guiding principles of democracy, equality, and justice for all that America was built upon.

Thanks to hardworking people dedicated to ensuring our country lived up to its promises, the U.S. has come so far since 1776. But there is still work to do and we must continue fighting tirelessly to materialize the nation that our founding fathers dreamed of achieving one day.

I am so proud to call myself an American and to have the honor of serving Northeastern Pennsylvanians in Congress. This Independence Day, please join me in reflecting on our American values and the ways we can keep celebrating and fighting for them every single day.
