Happy Independence Day!

Today, we honor the beloved country that we all call home. We recall the inspired decision our Founding Fathers made to declare independence, and embark on a new path toward liberty and justice for all.

Every generation of Americans has contributed to the betterment of our nation, and, on Independence Day and always, we are grateful. America is a resplendent tapestry stitched together by our common values of democracy, freedom, and progress.

So many sacrificed so much so that we can celebrate our independence today, and in perpetuity. We honor them, and our country today, as we recall the words of Walt Whitman, “The United States themselves are essentially the greatest poem.”

With that, I wish you a happy and glorious Fourth of July!
