Dear friends and supporters,
What does freedom mean to you?
Last week, we witnessed the Supreme Court recklessly undo many of our
hard-won struggles. By overturning Roe v. Wade, they are decimating
people's right to bodily autonomy. By curtailing the regulatory powers of
the EPA, they are repressing organizing efforts at the most crucial time in
history to curb the disastrous impacts of climate change. By allowing
prayer in schools, they are promoting fascism in the name of religion and
further eroding the boundary between church and state.
As devastating as these rulings are to us, our movements have been
preparing for this moment and we will continue to organize in every arena
to affirm true justice and liberation. WILL YOU JOIN US TODAY BY SUPPORTING
GGJ ACTION FUND (GGJAF)? [2]
We launched GGJ ACTION FUND [3] to build power that advances visionary
policy interventions at the intersections of climate, racial and gender
justice, and economic transformation. Through this new organization, we are
directly advocating for elected officials and candidates to fight for a
Feminist, Anti-Racist, Regenerative Economy (FAREconomy), and to introduce
and implement grassroots-led legislation at the local, state, Tribal, and
national levels.
Together, we will influence critical elections when our communities and
rights are under attack and we will keep electeds accountable to the
people. We are inspired by recent victories, from Colombia’s historic
election of former guerrilla fighter Gustavo Petro as President and
grassroots environmental activist Francia Márquez as the country’s first
Black woman Vice President, to leftist candidates in the U.S. winning
elections from the local to national level.
Collective victory will require each of us to fight in all the ways we are

organizing, events with fierce candidates, and more.

Estimadxs amigxs y aliadxs,
¿Qué significa la libertad para ustedes?
La semana pasada, vimos cómo la Corte Suprema imprudentemente deshizo
muchos de nuestros logros por los que tanto luchamos. Al revocar Roe v.
Wade, diezma los derechos de las personas a la autonomía corporal. Al
restringir los poderes regulatorios de la EPA, reprime los esfuerzos por
organizarnos en el momento más crucial de la historia para frenar los
desastrosos impactos del cambio climático. Al permitir el rezo en las
escuelas, promueve el fascismo en nombre de la religión y erosiona aún
más la separación entre la iglesia y el estado.
Por muy devastadoras que sean estas sentencias, los movimientos se han
estado preparando para este momento y seguiremos organizando en todos los
ámbitos para afirmar la justicia y liberación verdadera. ¿TE UNIRÁS A
NOSOTRXS APOYANDO EL FONDO DE ACCIÓN GGJ (GGJAF) HOY? [2]
Establecimos EL FONDO DE ACCIÓN GGJ [3] para construir un poder que
promueva intervenciones políticas visionarias en las intersecciones de la
justicia climática, racial y de género, y la transformación económica.
Con esta nueva organización, abogamos e incidimos directamente para que
candidatxs y funcionarixs electxs luchen por una Economía Feminista,
Antirracista y Regenerativa (FAREconomy), e introduzcan e implementen
legislación impulsada por las bases a nivel local, estatal, tribal y
nacional.
Unidxs, influiremos en las elecciones críticas cuando nuestras comunidades
y derechos están bajo ataque y mantendremos a lxs electxs responsables
ante el pueblo. Nos inspiran las victorias recientes, desde la elección
histórica en Colombia del exguerrillero Gustavo Petro como presidente y la
activista popular medioambiental Francia Márquez como primera
vicepresidenta negra del país, a las candidaturas de izquierda en los
Estados Unidos que ganaron elecciones desde el nivel local al nacional.
La victoria colectiva requerirá que cada persona luchemos de todas las
maneras que podamos. ¿PUEDES HACER HOY UNA DONACIÓN PARA APOYAR UNA
TRANSICIÓN JUSTA A UNA ECONOMÍA JUSTA, GOBERNADA POR LÍDERES DE PRIMERA

oportunidades de voluntariado para apoyar nuestras luchas políticas y
campañas electorales, para promover políticas locales y nacionales, hacer
