| Today, we celebrate the 246th Birthday of the United States of America. For almost two and half centuries, the USA has been a beacon of hope when the world has been lost; we have been the shining city on the hill where people from around the world come to find happiness. Today we celebrate the birth of the greatest nation the world has ever known or will ever know. We are blessed to be Americans, and we must be proud to be Americans. Our birthright is one of freedom and opportunity. As we celebrate with family and friends, watch as the rockets' red glare explode in the night skies and see our flag waving on doorsteps, school yards, and town hall lawns, stop for a moment and remember the words of Wendell Willkie ...
