John,

When I was younger, my dad used to look over the corner of his newspaper at the breakfast table and ask my siblings and me, “What are you doing for freedom today?”

That’s a big question for three kids who are just trying to finish their cereal before the school bus arrives, but it’s one I think about often, especially today on Independence Day.

I encourage you to ask  yourselves that same question, "What am I going to do for freedom today?" Because every single American has a responsibility to help protect our democracy, especially now as we're seeing fundamental freedoms stripped away.

Make no mistake, overturning Roe is just the beginning. Mitch McConnell is poised to pass a nationwide abortion ban if he takes back the Senate, and my opponents would be a rubber stamp for his extreme agenda.

I’m fighting for our shared values, John, but I can’t do it alone. And my last election was the closest in the country, so Republicans are doing everything they can to stop us by targeting this seat.

I’m asking you to please chip in $5 or as much you can to win in New Hampshire and continue our fight for freedom.
