JOHN,

We’ve experienced a very difficult past couple of weeks in this country and frankly, it’s been hard not to lose hope. So I have to be honest, the Fourth of July feels a little different to me this year.

In times like these, when I feel discouraged and uncertain, there’s one question I always ask myself: what can I do to change things for the better?

I’m running for Congress to address the immense problems we’re all facing, starting by:
-Codifying a woman’s right to choose
-Lowering the price of prescription drugs
-Fast-tracking renewable energy alternatives 
-And so much more

A brighter future is possible, JOHN. We just have to do the work to make it happen.
