This July 4th, I celebrate the people across generations who’ve fought for our freedoms and our rights. We are still fighting for liberation for all, part of a long tradition of people rising up to make sure this country lives up to its promises.

And we have a lot of work ahead. Over the past week, the current unhinged, extremist Supreme Court has been stripping us of fundamental rights, completely out of step with the values and democratic will of the majority of people across the country.

We can’t let them win. We’ve got to keep fighting to protect and expand our rights, and that includes getting out in the streets.
