I wanted to send you a short note to THANK YOU for all your support leading up to our last FEC fundraising report before the Maryland Primary and to wish you a HAPPY JULY 4TH!!

This year, as we celebrate our declaration of independence from a foreign power 246 years ago we are confronted with the alarming truth about a much more recent day in our history, January 6th, 2021 — when our democracy was attacked from within by armed domestic insurrectionists who came incredibly close to overturning the legitimate outcome of our elections.

This attack must be a call to action for each of us. Every citizen, here in Maryland and across our country, has a patriotic duty to protect our democracy and the rule of law by participating in the election process, staying informed, and engaging to make sure their voices are heard by their elected representatives.

Elected federal officials swear an oath of office to defend the Constitution against “all enemies, foreign and domestic.” And we must hold them to that oath!
