There’s something that I want every single one of you reading this message to think about today…
The freedom that we’re celebrating on this special day is by no means free. It was paid for with the blood, sweat, and sacrifice of brave men and women who put it all on the line for our country. Some of them never made the trip back home and literally paid with their life for the liberties that we are blessed to enjoy today.
That’s why I NEVER take for granted all that we have to be thankful for as citizens of the United States of America. War may have taken my legs, but it didn’t stop me from defending the country I love. I will continue to do so in the halls of Congress, and I will NEVER stop fighting for America with everything I’ve got!
If you’re as grateful for America as I am, I hope you’ll join me in a celebration today that’s as glorious as our country itself!
We are truly blessed to call this country our home - let’s not forget that today as we celebrate Independence Day.
