John,
This holiday celebrates our country’s freedom – but this year, we’ve lived through so many events that have threatened our freedom and even taken it away.
The threat of gun violence looms over our ability to live freely: Weapons of war are on our streets, threatening mass tragedy, like the shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, and far more shootings that do not break headlines. And now, the Supreme Court’s radical interpretation of the Second Amendment means more guns in public spaces, and it puts all Americans at risk.
Can you donate now to help us fight for a country free from gun violence?

The land of the free shouldn’t mean anyone is free to carry a weapon and shoot at will.
The home of the brave shouldn’t mean our children and our fellow Americans facing the daily threat of gun violence.
As a gun violence survivor, I desperately want our country to be free – from gun violence, from tragedy and loss. It’s why I work at Brady, because we are working so hard, every day, to protect Americans and push us toward a country free from gun violence.

And we are going to get there. After decades of inaction, lawmakers have finally heard the outcry of our citizens, passing the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act last week – and that is only the beginning. Brady is using this momentum to fight for more common sense gun violence legislation, protect existing gun laws, and support gun violence prevention champions at all levels of government. But we need your help, John: Can you donate any amount you can right now, and help push us toward a country free from gun violence?

I know if we keep fighting together, we can save lives.
