Today is my 32nd birthday.
Believe it or not: when I was born, Steny Hoyer had already been in Congress for ten years.
All I want as a gift this year is the chance to finally win some damn change. We're so close to Election Day – just two weeks away – and I'm ready to win this together.

Today is also, of course, the United States of America's birthday.
This is a particularly fraught Independence Day. Reproductive rights were recently stripped from millions of people across the country. Our democracy is under attack. Huge decisions are being implemented by a Supreme Court that was installed by minority rule.
Here's what I know: we cannot stop fighting for the future we want our kids to grow up in. We need leaders who will pull no punches, leave no stone unturned: because the entire country is at stake.
Take today to hold family and friends close. Enjoy the food and the fireworks.
