My race is one of the few pick-up opportunities in the country for Democrats to hold onto their razor thin majority in the House.

What’s even more concerning is that Donald Trump is putting his money down right here in Illinois. He knows that his path to a 2024 White House victory is easier if Democrats lose the majority this cycle. That means rolling back more of the progress we’ve made.

It means rolling back decades of progress made by the women who fearlessly fought for their right to keep the government outside of their doctor appointments.

My heart goes out to all the women who lost their lives because they didn’t have the right to a safe, legal abortion, and to all the American women who are scared right now because our rights are in grave danger.
