John,

What a huge week for our campaign. We had events all over the district from Olathe to Ottawa, received more endorsements, and were projected to win by 2.6%! The energy I’ve seen from voters throughout KS-03 has been absolutely incredible, and momentum in this race is growing because voters are ready to fire Sharice Davids and send an experienced leader to Washington.
Independence Day:
As we celebrate Independence Day this year, please take a moment to remember the courage of our Founding Fathers in all they did to form this great country 246 years ago. As a movement conservative, their bravery profoundly impacted me from a young age and has influenced me to become the leader I am today. The freedoms we have are not free, and I'm running for Congress to do my part to ensure they are protected for generations to come.

Also, you probably noticed while grocery shopping that Bidenflation is forcing the average American to spend $10.18 MORE this year on their 4th of July picnic. Last year, Biden and the Democrats bragged that the price of a 4th of July picnic was down $0.16 from 2020, but they have yet to give Americans an update this year on just how much their reckless spending is hurting families.
The momentum's on OUR side! After being rated a toss-up race by numerous outlets, FiveThirtyEight has projected that we will win KS-03 by 2.6%! This is huge news, but I'm not letting up. We’re glad to see our efforts paying off and moving us closer and closer to victory in November. I know that my ideas are what will move me across the finish line in just five months. Kansans want a real competitor with a real plan who will deliver real results, and I plan to be exactly that type of representative for them in Congress.
My Plan for Energy Security & a Healthy Environment: On Monday, I released my full policy plan for American energy security and a healthy environment. While the Democrats are pushing an immediate transition to green energy that we are NOT ready for, my plan takes a commonsense approach that will lower gas prices by increasing our domestic production of oil and gas and also invest in reliable energy, like nuclear, so we can have long term security and stability. America must be at the forefront of energy production, but the current administration continues trying to impede our ability to compete.

In recent weeks, both the Kansas City Star’s editorial board as well as KSHB (KC’s MSNBC) have released criticisms of Davids’ proposed gas tax holiday. I have been saying for months that temporarily suspending the $0.18 federal gas tax is not going to give Kansans the relief they need as it only saves them about $100/year when they are paying an extra $5,500/year due to record inflation and record high gas prices. You can read the Star’s comments here and KSHB’s comments here

My full policy plan can be read at amandaadkins.com/energy-security-healthy-environment/. I also joined Pete Mundo on KCMO Talk Radio on Tuesday to talk further about my thoughts on the future of American energy. You can listen to that interview here.
Endorsements:
I was honored to be endorsed by Senator Rob Olson (District 23, Olathe) this week. Here’s what Rob had to say about my candidacy: “I endorse Amanda Adkins for the U.S. Congress. Amanda understands business, economics, and the importance of Kansas family values. She represents both a very competent and common-sense approach toward governing.”
I also received the Kansas Rifle Association’s endorsement this week. I always have been and always will be a staunch supporter of our constitutional rights, and I will protect freedom at every turn, including the freedoms granted by our 2nd Amendment. You can view KRA’s full endorsement here
Franklin County:
I had the opportunity to speak with the Franklin County GOP at their Candidate Forum on Monday night. It was great to hear from voters new to our district who are fired up about stopping the Biden agenda in Washington and replacing the rubber stamp Pelosi has in Sharice Davids come November 8!

Yard Signs:
If you don't already have an Adkins yard sign, you can pick one up at our NEW campaign office at 7772 W. 119th Street in Overland Park (or you can sign up here to have a member of our team drop one off in your yard).
