Friend, Our campaign’s LAST public filing deadline is less than 12 hours away, and I'm starting to get a little worried we might not reach our goal in time. But what does this deadline mean? At 11:59PM, we are legally required to close the books and turn in our numbers so everyone — yes everyone — can see. From reporters, to our opponents, to 23% of likely Democratic voters who are still undecided, everyone will be looking at how much we raise as a sign of our campaign strength heading into the final 2 weeks. Right now the polls are showing me as one of the top 3 candidates in this race, so reaching those undecided voters is absolutely crucial to pushing our campaign into the lead. We set an ambitious goal to bring in another 250 online donations before midnight (at least 15 from xxxxxx), but there’s a reason for that: I’m running as a bold progressive, so this campaign can’t shy away from bold goals and ideas. |
