In his State of the Union speech earlier this year, President Donald Trump said that “America will never be a socialist country.”  I couldn’t agree more.

As we look around the globe, we see examples like Venezuela where socialism has turned a once prosperous nation into a chaotic land of suffering, pain, and destruction.  Yet here in the United States, many Democrats on the left want to move us in that same destructive direction.

Many of the Democrats running for president are advocating for bigger government, trillions more in spending, and socialist policies like Medicare for All that would devastate Ohio’s economy and our nation's prosperity.  We can’t let that happen.
