I hope you are having a safe and enjoyable Independence Day weekend!

Over this holiday weekend many gather with family, friends, neighbors, and members of our communities to come together and celebrate our nation’s independence. While we spend time at the lake swimming and fishing, barbecuing in the backyard, grilling at your local park, and assembling to watch firework displays big and small, please take a moment to say a prayer for our men and women in uniform who are helping provide the freedoms and liberties we enjoy.

Despite her shortcomings, we continue to live in the greatest nation on Earth. May God continue to bless our great land.
