We need your help. Ron DeSantis is doing everything he can to prevent Black candidates from being elected, including dismantling the congressional seat held by Rep. Al Lawson, a Black Democrat, in a blatant attempt to suppress Black votes.
He repeatedly rejected proposed new congressional maps in Florida in an obvious attempt to silence the voices of as many Black voters as possible, and it’s UNACCEPTABLE.
The worst part? It’s looking more and more like he’s going to make a presidential run in 2024. John, we can’t let that happen.
DeSantis’ motives are so blatant that members of both parties in the Florida legislature have gone against him and refused to cater to his demands to eliminate primarily Black districts.
Ron DeSantis is nothing short of a racist, and we need to fight back by turning out in record numbers at the polls in Florida to elect Black champions like Val Demings and Michele Rayner.
