In the last half-century, we’ve made progress, but we’ve also seen dangerous threats to our rights. For the last 40 years, the Coalition on Human Needs has been at the forefront of our fight for the rights of working people, people with low incomes, the LGBTQ+ community, Black and brown people, retirees, children and families, people with disabilities, immigrants, and all marginalized people.

This month, CHN is celebrating 40 years of advocating for the human needs of all people. Together, we’re fighting back against the millionaires and billionaires who rig our tax code and then tell us that we can’t afford nutrition programs, affordable child care and universal Pre-K, an expanded Child Tax Credit, affordable health care and housing, a clean sustainable environment, and so much more!
