Why do we support John? Lots of reasons — one of which is we’ve had enough with politicians pretending to care about working folks.

We need leaders who know the challenges working people face first-hand and act with urgency to fix our broken systems. John’s fighting to speed up Maryland’s timeline to reach a $15 minimum wage, cancel student debt, and invest in green union jobs because he’s been through the struggle himself. 

But it’s going to take a diverse coalition of folks standing with us to make history and elect John as Maryland’s first Black governor and the third ever elected Black governor in U.S. history. And we need you, friend, to be one of those folks.
