From voter suppression, to attacks on education and the LGBTQ+ community, to the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the far-right taking rights away from Americans for the first time in modern history, MAGA Republicans are relentless in their quest to take our country back 100 years.

Republican led state legislatures and an out of touch Supreme Court aggressively went after everything so many Americans fought and died for, with complete disregard on the effects their decisions will have for generations to come.

That’s why it is critical Congress remains a safeguard against these extremists. We cannot let the far-right take Congress this fall and prepare themselves for a possible Trump White House run in 2024.

If they were able to launch a coordinated assault by using the states and the Supreme Court, it’s terrifying to think what they will do if they control Congress and Trump wins in 2024.

We cannot let it get to that point. We need to protect and expand our Democratic majorities and continue to safeguard our country against far-right extremists hell bent on stopping progress. Federal abortion bans. Nationwide voter suppression bills. Committees led by far-right extremists. All of this is a possibility if Democrats lose this fall.

We will not stand idly by as MAGA Republicans continue their assault on democracy and our rights. The time to unify is now.
