The First Lady kicked off the Mamas for DeSantis campaign with a statewide listening tour meeting with mamas in the Panhandle, Jacksonville, Hillsborough County, Boca Raton, and Miami-Dade. Florida mamas want a brighter future for their children and grandchildren. They know that Governor DeSantis is fighting for the same thing.

To help Florida’s hardworking students, Governor DeSantis expanded eligibility requirements for the Bright Futures Scholarship Program to include paid work experience. This expansion will allow students who work after school jobs to apply their paid work contributions to their communities to substitute service hour requirements. "Students no longer have to choose between supporting their families and gaining volunteer hours for scholarship funding,” the First Lady tweetedabout the announcement.
