I wanted to reach out ahead of the Fourth of July to personally wish you and your family a happy and safe long weekend.

Independence Day gives us a chance to celebrate all of the freedoms we have fought for and won as a nation, but it’s also an opportunity to reflect on how much further we still have to go to truly live up to the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.

I also wanted to take a moment to thank you for helping my team reach our quarterly fundraising goal. Thanks to supporters like you, we will be able to compile a strong fundraising report for the Federal Election Commission. Our grassroots movement is proving that eastern Connecticut isn’t up for grabs.
