GOC ACTION ALERT

Given the egregious and illegal nature of the release of confidential information by the Attorney General’s Office, Gun Owners of California has been contacted by scores of concerned citizens throughout the state.  We are therefore coordinating with the California Rifle and Pistol Association to collect the names and email addresses of anyone who has had their private information compromised for a potential "class action" lawsuit.

You may have heard that such a lawsuit has already been filed regarding this situation.

PLEASE NOTE:  Any organization that has prematurely jumped into this legal fray that has no record of effectively fighting for the Second Amendment in our state does not have the best interests of California’s gun owners at heart. That said, groups that have had feet on the ground in California for decades will have the best foundation and opportunity to successfully represent California’s gun-owning citizens.  Gun Owners of California and CRPA have that unassailable record.  What’s more, we have already retained some of the most influential law firms with extraordinarily advanced technologies to handle the potential for an effective class action lawsuit.

You have trusted us for decades and we are asking for your trust and support NOW!

If you are interested in participating in the lawsuit, please forward your name, county of residence and email address to: [email protected].  As we continue to investigate the details regarding the dangerous leak of data by the Department of Justice, this is the only information needed at this time. As things progress, you may be contacted to provide additional information regarding your specific situation. Regular updates will be provided via email to everyone who joins this effort.

It’s time to fight back and hit them where it hurts.

“Attorney General Rob Bonta is either grossly negligent, completely incompetent or criminally liable. If this is his idea of increasing public trust, we’re screwed. For endangering the lives of 100s of thousands of law-abiding Californians, Bonta should resign.”
GOC Executive Director Sam Paredes
