Friend – AG Keith Ellison is making sure that anyone who travels across state lines to Minnesota to receive an abortion will be guaranteed the protection they deserve.
AG Ellison has promised to personally intervene to prevent prosecuting anyone facing charges for seeking basic medical care. As red states pass overly restrictive laws about traveling outside of state lines to receive medical care, states like Minnesota are going to be absolutely critical to ensure that Americans can get the care they deserve.
With Roe v. Wade overturned, abortion has become a state issue. Right now, we have Dem AGs in office protecting that right, but there’s no guarantee what will happen if we aren’t able to keep them in office in just a few short months.
Dem AGs in several critical swing states are up for reelection this year and we need to pour resources and time into these campaigns to ensure they get elected so we don’t have hard line right wingers taking office and dictating how these abortion laws are enforced.
