(Washington, D.C.) Eagle Forum, the pro-family 501 (c)(4) organization founded by Phyllis Schlafly in 1975, is delighted to announce that Tabitha Walter has been promoted to Executive Director. She has been with Eagle Forum for five years, most recently as the Political Director.
"We are pleased to elevate Tabitha to Executive Director of Eagle Forum. Tabitha brings vision, energy, and resolve to this important leadership role at this critical moment in our nation’s history. The pro-family, Conservative movement will benefit greatly from her strong voice and track record of success," said Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman.
Mrs. Walter has used her passion and creativity to further Eagle Forum's mission through hosting the "Engage with Eagle Forum" podcast, elevating conservative candidates through Eagle Forum PAC, and assisting in crafting the most conservative Republican party platform to date. In recent years, she was instrumental in defeating the Equal Rights Amendment in her home state of Virginia and on the federal level. She continues those efforts by advocating for policies that protect the vulnerable, ensure Constitutional freedoms for every American, and bolster the family unit.
Mrs. Walter began her public policy career working as an advocate at the West Virginia State Legislature. Mrs. Walter served as Government Affairs Office Coordinator for Family Research Council. Tabitha is a graduate of Marshall University. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, as well as graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Political Science. She is married with two children.
