Jubilee Debt Campaign is the only campaigning organisation working exclusively on fighting unjust debts both at home and abroad.
Right now we’re seeing more and more countries in debt crisis, which means governments are less able to spend on essentials like healthcare and education.
We know we can turn this around; we’ve done it in the past. But only if we have the resources to campaign effectively.
This year alone: We got the Labour Party behind our idea for an Overseas Loan Transparency Act; we helped Mozambican campaigners hold the Credit Suisse bankers behind the secret loans to account; and we were in the media highlighting how IMF bailouts fuel the global debt crisis.
There’s so much more to do in 2020, and together we can make it happen.
