Dear Friend,
Happy Independence Day Weekend! On Tuesday, our Republican nominee Lee Zeldin crushed the primary election with a 21-point victory. No one worked harder to earn this nomination and Lee proved to voters from Buffalo to Montauk why he is the best person to DEFEAT KATHY HOCHUL in November. It was a spirited primary, but I'm so proud of how all our candidates have come together and united behind Lee Zeldin. We are stronger than ever and now we set our sights on the main event and our mission to fire Kathy Hochul. The Zeldin-Esposito ticket will restore safety, common sense and affordability to New York. We simply cannot afford another four years of one-Party Democrat rule. As Lee says, "losing is not an option."
We also saw a major victory this week when we WON our lawsuit to STOP Democrats' law that allowed foreign citizens to vote in our elections. Whether it was their illegal gerrymander or this unconstitutional scheme to allow non-citizens the right to vote, Democrats are brazenly abusing their power and trampling on your rights.
Nowhere was that more apparent than with the "special session" Kathy Hochul and legislative leaders called on Thursday after the Supreme Court correctly struck down New York's unconstitutional concealed carry law. The Supreme Court ruled emphatically that New Yorkers have a right to protect and defend themselves and that right is extended outside the home. Naturally, Democrats rushed to Albany to pass a knee-jerk gun control bill that is a gross infringement on our constitutional rights and makes us less safe. Only under the insanity of New York Democrats can violent criminals illegally possessing a weapon be let out of jail free, but law-abiding gun owners are under assault by our government. I'm going to take them to court, again--and we will win--again. You can watch more of my response below.
The New York Republican Party has successfully blocked their illegal schemes in the courts, but they won't stop unless they are removed from office. That's why this election and your continued support is so CRITICAL.
There isn't a better time to contrast Democrats' anti-freedom and oppressive policies than Independence Day weekend. New Yorkers today demand common-sense leaders who respect their freedom and who will keep them safe. Our fight will not be easy but with your continued support, we will elect the Zeldin/Esposito ticket and save New York State!
Sincerely,

Many people want to know about me so I will try and lay out some facts for you. I'm not your typical candidate. I'm not a politician, I'm a Soldier. I'm a regular person that knows what it's like to work and struggle trying to get by. I don't come from a place of prominence, and I wasn't born with good fortune. Everything in my life I have busted my hands and back for (literally).
I was born in Florida and have called WNY my home since 1991. I grew up to a single mom with 2 kids living in low-income housing. I have seen my mom get denied for government service because she made $25 too much money in a pay period. I have been a single parent, I have been broke, I have been a homeless Veteran with no help. I've had friends die from drug overdoses from drugs that came across our border. I know what people's issues are, because I have lived those issues myself. I didn't have to read about it or have someone give me political talking points to be able to relate.
People ask me "Why do you want to run for Congress?".
I want to run for the House of Representatives because the people need a voice in Congress that knows what their life is like and knows what they have gone through. Our current "Representative" has forgotten what his job is and who he works for. All the Representatives work for US: "We the People." This is a representative government of the people, elected by the people, and working for the people at the consent of the people. How many of us feel represented? How many of these "Representatives" know what it's like to overdraft your account for gas because payday is still 3 days away? I DO. This is "why" I'm running for U.S. Congress. I hope I can earn your vote.

Lee Zeldin Captures Republican Primary for N.Y. Governor
New York Times
Representative Lee M. Zeldin, a four-term congressman from Long Island, won the Republican primary for governor of New York on Tuesday, fending off a spirited challenge in a four-way race, and advancing to a general election where his party hopes to break a two-decade losing streak in statewide races. Mr. Zeldin, 42, will face Gov. Kathy Hochul, the Democratic incumbent who easily won her primary, and will be seeking a full term in November. Ms. Hochul has amassed an enormous campaign war chest, and has a large numeric advantage in a deeply Democratic state. But she has suffered from middling poll numbers in recent months amid voters’ concerns about crime and the economy.

How NY Republican nominee Lee Zeldin could win against Kathy Hochul in November
New York Post
“If that was a winning formula, Terry McAuliffe would be governor of Virginia right now,” New York State GOP Chair Nick Langworthy said, referring to the 2021 win by Republican Glenn Youngkin in a state that had leaned left in previous elections.
Violent crime — which includes murder, rape, robbery and felony assault — is up more than 25% so far this year, compared to 2021, according to NYPD figures. Such hot-button talking points could win over enough independents and even some Democrats who are looking for the state to make a change, Langworthy said. "We have to get disaffected cross-over votes and that’s what’s happening when you have a situation like this. It’s eerily similar to 1994,” he explained, referring to former GOP Gov. George Pataki’s stunning victory over three-term Gov. Mario Cuomo.

New Yorkers Celebrate ‘Victory for Citizen Rights’ After Court Blocks Foreign Nationals from Voting in NYC
Breitbart
Councilman Joe Borelli (R-Staten Island) said the ruling “validates those of us who can read the plain English words of our state constitution and state statutes: noncitizen voting in New York is illegal…” “Shame on those who thought they could skirt the law for political gain,” he said. Councilwoman Inna Vernikov (R-Brooklyn) called voting a “sacred right and privilege that is granted exclusively to citizens of the United States. As an immigrant,” she continued, “… I am proud to be a plaintiff in this lawsuit.” Likewise, Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Queens) called the ruling “a win for democracy.” New York State Republican Party Chairman Nick Langworthy said the ruling is “another victory for citizen rights, election integrity, and the rule of law” and vowed to continue fighting the issue in court: Time and again, New York Democrats have abused the power entrusted to them to illegally rig the system while trampling on citizen’s rights. Whether it was this outrageous violation or their illegal gerrymander, we have proven that we will fight them in court and win, but this should serve as yet another reason why we need to break up one-Party rule and restore balance and accountability to our government.

More than a million voters have shifted to the Republican Party over the past year, including tens of thousands of swing voters — with some declaring they can no longer support the Democratic Party’s policies, according to a report Monday. The move to the GOP is occurring in every part of the country, in Democratic and Republican states and cities since President Biden defeated former President Donald Trump, an analysis of voter registration data by the Associated Press found. Over the past year, about two-thirds of the 1.7 million voters who changed party affiliations shifted to the Republican Party, and overall, more than 1 million people became Republicans compared to about 630,000 who became Democrats. The shift most notably is playing out in the suburbs, which played a critical role in Biden’s 2020 victory. Well-educated swing voters who voted against Trump appear to be returning to the Republican Party, analysis shows.
