The Supreme Court has finally ended its spring term, and it was a total nightmare.

The right-wing majority eviscerated Roe v. Wade, setting off a cascade of abortion bans across the country. They gave more rights to gun owners than for our kids to be safe at school. They cut the Environmental Protection Agency at its knees, curbing its power to limit climate pollution.

The extreme right wing has hijacked the Court. Now the only thing standing between it and the destruction of even more of our rights is the Democratic majority in Congress.

There’s no way that Democrats will keep the majority without winning in Orange County and the Central Valley, among other California districts. And Courage California is committed to do everything in our power to gain seats for Democrats this November.

Will you chip in for polling, ads, and voter mobilization in key California congressional races so that Democrats keep their majority and stop the unhinged Supreme Court?

This is the most radically conservative Supreme Court we’ve seen in generations, one wildly out of step with the American people. And little wonder: three were appointed by a president who lost the popular vote and confirmed by senators who represent a minority of the population. (1)

The only silver lining is that most Americans and Californians oppose what the Court has done. With targeted polling, we can channel public opinion and use it in four key California districts to ensure the Democrats keep their majority.

That means protecting Democrats like Katie Porter, and unseating Republicans like David Valadao, whose seat is much more competitive since redistricting.(2)

Let’s be clear: This will be a huge battle. The punditry class has written off Democrats in the midterm elections. But we have no choice. The Supreme Court has shown us that none of our rights are safe, and we need Democrats to stop it from doing even more damage.
