When Maggie was a child, her father would ask her and her siblings, "What are you doing for freedom today?" As the daughter of a World War II veteran and a pro-choice activist, Maggie's parents really instilled in her the need to fight for what is right.


In college, Maggie thought she'd follow in the footsteps of her grandfather and pursue medicine. But over the course of her college career, between playing rugby, rowing crew, and meeting the love of her life, Tom, she found herself pulled in another direction – toward public service.

Maggie is fortunate enough to have two beautiful children of her own, Ben and Meg. And as she watched her community fully embrace her son Ben, who was born with serious disabilities, she became an advocate for families like hers – to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to succeed.

Ever since Maggie was a child, she's committed her life to making a difference. From fighting to lower prescription drug costs to casting the vote to save the Affordable Care Act, Maggie's proudly represented the people of New Hampshire. 

And the good news? She's ready to keep this fight going, but she needs your help.
