Dear Friends & Supporters:

Our weekly email was delayed this week as we sent a bevy of emails towards our FEC fundraising deadlines. Thank you all for sticking with me through all those emails and for never letting me down. Again, we surpassed our fundraising goals. I’m humbled by the tremendous grassroots support that we have received - without it our historic campaign would not possible; with that support we cannot be beat. Thank you again, sincerely.

Last week was a difficult one for our nation. The Supreme Court rulings limited a state's ability to regulate gun safety, but expanded a state’s ability to regulate a persons’ access to safe and legal abortion. I addressed numerous protests, including those in White Plains Hastings-on-Hudson;

but we also met the moment by passing a clinic access bill at the County Legislature that affirmed and protected access to abortion clinics free from harassment or intimidation.

As difficult as the week was, it reminded me why I am running for Congress. We cannot take our rights for granted, we must fight back and I’m here to do it.

We also enjoyed participating in the African American Heritage Festival and Dobbs Ferry’s Pride Festival.

We’ve also continued campaigning as hard as ever - sending mail, beginning digital advertising, knocking on doors, phone calls and text messages and also hosting meet & greets throughout the district.

Oh yeah, and we voted! Congratulations to Governor Kathy Hochul, Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado and my friend Legislator MaryJane Shimsky on their hard fought victories.

I wish you all a happy, healthy and safe Independence Day! Rest up and celebrate responsibly so that you’ll all be ready to continue spreading our vision to voters.

Sincerely,
