Hi John,

First off, I hope you and your family are having a great Independence Day weekend. It’s an important holiday to me – one that is always a powerful reminder of the importance of the work I’ve been sent to do in Congress.

Crucial to me continuing this work is this team – which, I’m proud to say, rose to the occasion and helped my campaign meet our huge quarterly fundraising goal. This was our most important test yet, and it’s a big deal that we are able to put forward a strong report before pivoting to the most critical months of the election.

John, this would not have been possible without you, so thank you for your generous support.

While I’m proud of our impressive performance this quarter, how we got the job done gives me even greater pride.

We didn’t get here by relying on special interest groups and their outside cash, or by depending on a few extremely wealthy donors. We got here because people like you all across this district chipped in whatever they could.

Nothing gives me greater confidence going forward than that simple fact. We’re in for a tough fight over the next few months, but I’ve never been more confident that this grassroots, people-first campaign will come out on top in November.
