John xxxxxx, I’m not gonna lie, June was a rocky month filled with joy, deep reflection, sorrow, and anger.

But through it all, you’ve stood with me, and for that I am deeply thankful.

Now more than ever, it is clear we need new leadership in Washington with the courage to stand up for our rights — as women, as LGBTQ+ folks, as the working class that is the backbone of this country.

There is so much on the line, and the same old talking points and pandering to conservative and moderate views just aren’t cutting it anymore. They never did.

The only way forward is to elect leaders this November committed to making real progressive change:

End the filibuster. Codify Roe. Repeal Hyde.

Expand and unrig the Supreme Court to protect abortion, marriage equality, access to contraception, and so much more.

Pass Medicare for All, the morally and fiscally responsible solution to our country’s healthcare crisis.

Pass comprehensive anti-corruption legislation to stop dark money from buying our institutions EVER again.

Petition signatures will be personally delivered to President Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi so they know we will not settle for half-measures or performative action.
