Dear Friend,

If you are concerned about the use and normalization of marijuana, register today to join SAM and our newly announced initiative, Parent Action Network (PAN), for the 1st Annual National Marijuana Symposium being held in Washington, DC on Thursday, September 22, 2022. There is no charge to register for the symposium, however, space is limited.

We know our world is changing, but that doesn't mean we need to live with a culture of normalized and readily available drugs. The soon to be released agenda will consist of morning presentations held by families, national marijuana policy advocates and representatives from SAM and the Parent Action Network. Attendees will learn the best strategies for making their voices heard to members of congress and advocate for health-first marijuana policies. A box lunch will be provided.

The Parent Action Network (PAN) is an initiative of Smart Approaches to Marijuana. PAN’s primary goal is to coordinate the voices of families concerned about the use and normalization of marijuana. Through support, advocacy, and education PAN promotes attitudes that decrease marijuana use and consequences, promotes youth prevention rather than harm reduction, and provides leadership to support grassroots advocacy to inform and activate leaders to make informed drug policy decisions in their local communities and states.

PAN is a non-profit organization; we do our best to stretch any funds we receive to support families. For this reason, we ask that if you make a commitment to attend, and find that you cannot, you promptly let us know so that someone else may have the opportunity. Only those who have preregistered will be permitted into the conference room.

**Deadline to register: September 16th, 12:00 p.m EST**
