Dear Friends, There are just 7 days left to register for LEAD! Through our LEAD program, we're equipping the next generation of Christian leaders. Gen Z needs men and women who will boldly stand for the truth and shine the light of the gospel in their communities! We equip young people to do that by providing them with hands-on leadership training that gives them the tools to build a strong Biblical worldview while learning the legislative process. Worldview Building Gen Z faces unique challenges in an increasingly secularized culture. At LEAD, we're giving them the tools to build a strong Biblical worldview as they hear from speakers who challenge them to think critically, pursue truth, and see how the gospel applies to all areas of life. Real-World Leadership Training During LEAD, our students get to take on the responsibilities of elected officials through our simulation of the legislative process. During the week, they learn valuable lessons from men and women who are practicing godly leadership in a variety of different roles. In our student-led caucus meetings, they learn to work as a team, communicate persuasively, and step out of their comfort zones. Equipped to Engage In addition to giving students the tools to engage with the legislative process by providing them with a hands-on understanding of how Minnesota's government works, we equip students to engage with relevant cultural issues. With the recent overturn of Roe v. Wade, it's time to equip teens to stand for life here in our state! Students will also be hearing from speakers on topics like religious freedom, critical theory, and Christianity and culture. Each year we see students growing as leaders and applying what they learned at LEAD in their communities! We hope to see your teen from July 24-29th at LEAD 2022 — and don't forget that registration closes on July 9th! For more information head to www.LEADMinnesota.org. |
