[[link removed]] Building a better democracy{SALUTATION~DEAR NAME OR FRIEND},
We are now just a week away from polling day and democratic and constitutional
policy is still not on the agenda. This general election was called because the
Westminster system had left the country in a deadlock, yet none of the parties
are talking about how to fix it.
We want to hear parties speak up today about why they are best placed to repair
Westminster’s broken system. That's why, along with 20 other organisations we
have declared today Democracy Day. It's time for parties to speak up about their
plans to modernise politics.

[[link removed]]Our records show you have supported the Labour Party, would you ask them to talk
about democracy today?
It’s time to address Britain’s democratic crisis – and the need to modernise
Westminster. @UKLabour, what change would you make to reform politics?
#DemocracyDay.

We want as many people talking about Democracy Day as possible, so we've written
some suggested tweets.
From a warped voting system to an unelected House of Lords, Westminster isn’t
working. This #DemocracyDay I want to hear parties speak up about why they are
best placed to repair Westminster’s broken system #GE2019
