Friend, I love the holiday season, and I spend a lot of time thinking about the inspiration people feel to give more during this time. That’s because I myself come from a family that has actually lived the benefits of public programs and community help—my parents met and fell in love in public housing, and without that support, I don’t know where the Morses would be today.
While love may not see economic class, landlords and bill collectors certainly do. And when the wealthy continue to rig a system for profit, we all lose.
Neighborly help alone can’t erase the stacks of medical bills generated by our for-profit health care system, or keep our homes warm in these increasingly treacherous winters, or put higher education under every tree, or food on the table when families simply cannot afford it.
Between a predatory health care system, and a corrupt, corporate-funded political process that keeps the wealthy and well-connected in power, it’s clear that for everyday people, the status quo is not working out. And unless we make powerful change, it will only get worse.
I’m running for Congress to make sure everyone has what they need to live and thrive in the First District—and that begins with government that puts people first. Together, we can win, and we can make change. Rejecting corporate PAC donations means I need your help to build this campaign;

Our numbers are strong, but we’ll need an extra push to bring a new era of politics to the forefront in 2020. Your support means everything in building a movement that can take on an unequal system and bring power to the people of Western Mass.
Thank you so much,
Alex
