What we’re doing here is important. Our campaign would make history — I’m running to become Maryland’s first Black governor and the very first Afro-Latino governor in the entire history of the United States. Electing people of color in leadership roles is critical. It demonstrates to young people that they too can achieve whatever they set their mind to.

Every supporter who pitches in to support our campaign makes it possible for us to reach more Marylanders with our progressive message. I know that together, we can build a more just, equitable, and prosperous future where every Marylander, no matter their zip code, immigration status, family background, or economic standing has the opportunity to succeed.
